Full-arch implant rehabilitation

Full-arch implant rehabilitation replaces the teeth of an arch with a prosthesis supported by several implants.

When is it considered?

An edentulous arch or severely compromised dentition requiring a coordinated assessment of preservation and replacement options.

The assessment

Examination of teeth and gums, medical history and appropriate imaging help assess available bone and the planned replacement.

Treatment stages

The plan considers chewing, appearance, available bone and maintenance. The number of implants, treatment stages and a possible temporary restoration are assessed individually.

Points to discuss

Implant number, prosthesis type, possible temporary teeth, timing and cleaning access are explained individually. An immediate solution is not always appropriate.

Care and follow-up

Appropriate daily cleaning around implants and follow-up appointments are part of treatment. The clinician explains how to care for the restoration.
