Treatments
Ceramic veneers
Veneers are thin restorations bonded to the visible surface of teeth to change their appearance.

When is it considered?
Existing teeth whose shape, shade or proportions are the subject of an aesthetic concern.
The assessment
Assessment considers remaining tooth structure, gums and tooth contacts. Photographs, scans or radiographs may be added where appropriate.
Treatment stages
Planning considers shape, shade and function. Some enamel preparation may be needed; irreversibility and alternatives are discussed before treatment.
Points to discuss
Preparation may be irreversible. Available enamel, tooth contacts and alternatives should be discussed; veneers are not appropriate for every tooth.
Care and follow-up
Brushing, interdental cleaning and regular reviews remain necessary. Night-time protection may be discussed where appropriate.
